The expedited Kyrgyz citizenship process takes from 2 months from the moment the application package is submitted.
Applicants must provide a valid passport, a criminal record certificate, documents confirming eligibility for citizenship, proof of income and absence of serious illnesses, four color photos, and a citizenship application form. Key requirements include being of legal age, having no criminal record, having ties to the former KSSR, financial stability, and willingness to comply with the Constitution of Kyrgyzstan.
The program allows the primary applicant and minor children to obtain citizenship simultaneously.
The legal basis is the intergovernmental agreement dated 26 February 1999 between Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia on the simplified acquisition of citizenship. The process is also regulated by the Kyrgyz Citizenship Law (Articles 11 and 14), the Constitution, and subordinate acts of the Ministry of Justice.
The expedited Kyrgyz citizenship program does not require proof of financial means or property ownership in the country. Applicants only need to pay the official state fees and charges.
